Why "studio"

A studio is a place for careful work and honest observation. We study how organizations actually operate — where value flows, where it gets stuck, and what people on the ground already know. That curiosity comes before any technology decision.

Based in Vacaville, California, Civic Studio works with public agencies, small businesses, and nonprofits to design websites and digital tools that amplify what's already working. Good signals deserve good infrastructure.

Document
Create a Business Process Model of the current state of some part of your organization's operations. Consider a registration process, a sales lifecyle, a digital product change request lifecycle, or a purchasing process.

Model
